SM57. Will sound good on everything... except vocals.
can someone please explain the concept of wireless micsi've been keen to use them but the guy that does my band's sound says a licence or something is required...
Tell that to Ronnie Van Zandt or uh... someday in guitar heaven
Sweet...didnt realize Ronnie used an SM57.I know Weiland used one to record all the vocals on some STP album too. On my gay nasaly voice it sounds like hell though
so would you recomend for vocals then?
wtf?where do you live?
It's not some kind of secret satellite wireless telecommunications to require a licence man. it's just a simple microphone but without Wire!
NT1 Rhodes condenser mic - that's THE studio vocal mic. emphasis on STUDIO.Live, as stated, a standard Shure SM58... i personally dont like 58's though...Not sure how much the Rhodes would cost - but if its recording you're looking at, and specifically vocals, you gotta go for a condenser (well, you dont HAVE to, but they are better for vocal as a general rule...)
Rhode NT1 or NT2and DONT BUY A SHURE SM 57 or 58 for recordingits the difference between a demo a decent trackthose shure mics are live mics and don't have a tailored frequency response.RooneMooney is right on the moneybut you need batteries or a desk with phantom power to run a condenser mic
That's my choice:Sennheiser Evolution 865Shttp://www.soundland.de/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/220173
We don't need a news section
Isn't this the one Sting from The Police is using; because I almost feel like this being so!
