Slash and Friends
 
It seems as if we're looking at a late-May release for Slash's first-ever "solo" album, which has a working title of Slash and Friends.

Featured vocalists include: Fergie, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, B Real, Gavin Rossdale, Royston Langdon, Perry Farrell, Steven Tyler and Alice Cooper.

Supposedly, Matt Sorum, Lars Ulrich, Stephen Perkins and Chad Smith all play drums on the disc.

Last Fall, Sebastian Bach said that Slash's album was going to be "mind-blowing."

Now, where have we heard that before?

Slash and Friends will play the Quart Festival in July 2009.

I'm eager to hear his new solo effort.

maybe I'm not a VR fan but I Always love slash's solo stuff. now this one seems to be more amusing with all those people involved. hope to hear something in the quality standards of snakepit's It's five O'clock somewhere album.

So can we expect Baz to be on it or not? He wasn't listed, but they used his quote....

i think there are LOTS of people that weren't mentioned that will be in his album [AKA Joe Perry, Steven Adler, Sebastian Bach, Gilby Clarke, probably Tommy Lee and lots of other people]

Steven Adlers not definite. He said steven wwould only apear if he can get his shit together, which given his recent bust, seems unlikely.

Either way......

Some great names linked to this (Tyler, Ulrich, Cooper etc.) and some not so great ones (Fergie, Kid Rock and B Real) . Regardless I will ceratinly be buying this!!

read about it again ;) he wasn't high, he just didn't do his community service by the time given by the judge, so steven is still sober.

Perla (SLash's wife)  said "it's going to have everyone from Fergie to Ozzy to everything in the middle."

so i asume that Ozzy is going to be on there.
