TIL would be a terrible choice of single, The general populous just wouldn't "get" it...

 the "general populas" that I have talked to  has all said  what the fuck is up with that number 13 song or what ever. it's not GNR , it sounds like meatloaf or elton john or something .. Granted we all love the tune but  out side of the hardcores it wouldn't be understood.   At least SOD has that don't cry  november rain feel like the GNR of old ,, and the reality of the situation is that is what most casual fans want

to be honest, i dont think it would matter what was released as a single. If it's marketed the right way - ie, a video, buying single either/both in iTunes and in CD form - coupled with a little promo push (a statement on the site, maybe an Axl interview with a magazine or whatever...) and some tour dates announced, then it will do well.

Just re-release Better, but with the above done and there you have it, a cross-over, mainstream hit, which i think is what people seem to want around here, right?

Well here in California I hear tons of women talking about it, and they like it. Plus most of my friends think the solo is reallly good, so I dunno where you're at, but pretty much all the feedback I get is great.

If you think thats even close to slash you need your ears checked, I still like it but we all know slash would've put such a better feel to it.  Again im not bashing it, I love the song and the solo but in no way is fincks choppy style even remotely close to slash.

to each his own, i've heard numerous people think its slash and a couple of people said november rain when i told them it was guns n roses. but again I really like Robin Finck's solo and defenitely think its the most slash like on the album. but to each his own.

Yeah, Robin's style sounds more Slash like than any of the other past and present lead guitarists in GN'R to me.

I am very happy for what Bucket and Robin have contributed to GN'R, and I believe Bumble is a great addition as well.  Hopefully Robin can come back though, nothing against Ron he is great but I think GN'R sounds best with two leads.
