Original GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler was recently interviewed on "The Woody Show" on San Francisco, California's KITS Live 105. Watch the six-minute chat below.

According to TMZ.com, Adler was in court on Friday (February 6) where the judge ordered Adler to check himself into Cri-Help treatment center in North Hollywood, California first thing today (Monday, February 9).

Adler was arrested last month for failing to complete court-ordered community service by the judge's deadline in connection with a July 2008 DUI bust.

ADLER'S APPETITE, the band led by Steven Adler, is scheduled to embark on a full U.S. tour first time ever this winter/spring. The group will perform the iconic GN'R album "Appetite For Destruction" in its entirety along with other classics and some surprises.

ADLER'S APPETITE's current lineup is rounded out by singer Sheldon Tarsha, Alex Grossi (HOOKERS 'N' BLOW, ex-QUIET RIOT) on guitar, Michael Thomas (FASTER PUSSYCAT) on guitar, and Chip Z'nuff (ENUFF Z'NUFF) on bass.

Adler is featured in "Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House", an eight-episode, one hour series that premiered on January 15 on VH1.

The other members of GUNS N' ROSES band threw Adler out in 1989, saying his drug use was harming his performance. In 1993, the band agreed to pay him $2.3 million to settle Adler's lawsuit claiming a 1990 agreement by which he gave up his interest in the band was read to him and signed without his attorney present.

i think he will. at least for some time (at the very least 2 or 3 years).

but Steven doesn't have anything that he stays sober for (like slash and duff have kids)

IF (not saying there will) there will ever be a reunion show/tour (or even they get back together someday) then i want Steven to get another chance. i've seen adler's appetite once, and i've seen VR and i've seen GNR (with frank on drums) and i've seen all these drummers on youtube, and i really REALLY like adler the best.

(BTW why do you hate matt? he is a decent drummer for VR and amazing drummer for The Cult.)

Steven wouldn't be able to pull off the Illusion songs. I hate Matt...well I have never really been sure why but I do. I do agree that he is a pretty good drummer in VR and I don't listen to the Cult.

hate to disagree with you, but if you look around in the internet, you will find demos for many of the illusion songs (on youtube to make an example) that were made in the 80s (and Steven was therefor drumming) and he did it really well if you ask me, but those were only demos though.

opinion, not fact. Although I do agree with you. I prefer Stevens feel over Matts, but Matt might be a bit better technically than Steve.

well Steven is faster. (the appetite drums were faster then the illusion, TSP, contraband, libertad drums)
