yeah richard is the guy who can play all of GNR stuff. but you know I really miss robin finck. after buckethead left to be honest I never felt comfortable watching and listening to ron thal playing for GN'R (an opinion). so my only hope was just for robin. and now he's leaving.

and this guy plays cool but If ever he join GN'R I can't accept him as the band member. cause i was getting used to robin.

Well, Nick seems like a nice guy and can obviously play.

BUT

An 18 year old?  Hopefully he got to the audition and got turned away. He's way too young. And why are they auditioning randoms? Surely they would be better going with someone they already know like how they got Fortus.

I think Axl is auditioning some guitarists and maybe he was recommended by someone.

I think if Axl goes for repleacement for Robin Finck , he will get unknown player ( maybe he wants to pull out Ozzy - which worked for Ozzy really good TWICE) because all other guitar players which woould suit Gn'R are in the bands ( John 5, Nuno Bettencourt, Dave Navarro) so it is wise to audition anyone with talent, both Randy Rhoades and Zakk Wylde were very young (not much older than that kid) when Ozzy hired them and looked how great chemistry developed , so age shouldn't be a factor to refuse him a place if he got skills to pull the songs out.

whoooaaa,  i mean if this kid aint old enough to get drink etc, how does he expect to relax in a GnR after-party, they need to get somebody who has got a lot of experience, over 35 years old, and can play some kick ass guitaR

Bid deal Randy Rhoades was 22 when he joined Ozzy and look how it work out, and Zakk Wylde was 19 when Ozzy accpeted him into band was it a stupid move ? And Ozzy was far more dangerous for young man than Axl and the age difference was similiar, at least Axl is drinking and doing drugs in studio.  
C'Mon age is the biggest factor, skill is all he need, if he can keep up with Fortus and Bumblefoot why don't give it a shot.
I don't know if he is the right man, but don't shoot him down because of age, he looks to be guitar prodigy and he has played with Aerosmith and Alice Cooper so maybe he won't suck on big stage.

another brilliant band manager , what the drinking has to do with playing like motherfucker ?? Get a life - Zakk Wylde was 19 when he joined Ozzy, and everybody suggest John 5 who is not drinking and doing drugs at all, by your standards sych players are not worthy to play in Guns.
