I think I should!
I don't think the guy I saw it with was probably too impressed, I had my mouth open, gawping at the screen, then afterwards all I could say was what a man, about Nite Owl and The Comedian. Just thinking about it gets me going... can't wait till the DVD comes out.

Saw the movie with my uncle two days ago. Hell of a lot better seeing it on the big screen then the computer screen. I was surprised to hear him say he liked it better than The Dark Knight. He said if The Dark Knight didn't have Heath Ledger in it as the Joker it would of been the worst Batman. That's his opinion not mine. I am thinking he liked Watchmen more because it reminded him of the eighties and wasn't just based around one character being great throughout the whole movie. He prefers the Adam West Batman since he group up with watching it. Not gay either.

I really want to see The Dark Knight Returns be adapted on screen. It would be the darkest graphic novel to go on screen. Read it if you haven't and you'll know why.

Oh god, yes! :D

Unlikely though, seeing as Watchmen has been a relative flop at the Box Office and Warner Brothers have claimed they won't be greenlighting anymore R rated superhero films :?:

So i bought the graphic novel, started reading it on Tuesday and finished earlier today. I got really into it and was surprised to find out that the end was different than the movie version. Does anyone know why they changed the ending? I think both are great endings but I wonder why they decided to change the way Veidt goes about his plan.

I personally think they did it because a high percentage of people that goes to see the film probably haven't read to book, so for them to put the real ending in would just confuse a lot of people seeing as it's so abstract. If you read comics or graphic novels you expect bizzare things to happen.

That makes sense. But I mean I loved the movie and never read the GN. And when I found out the ending in the gn I was surprised. It still made sense but just got confused to why they would change it. I guess you right though, not everyone would've appreciated that ending.
