Manipulation on Myspace Top Bands in Hungary?

I don't want to believe it, but this is too weird. I'm going to write what happened, and I'd like to know your opinion on it.

i started a band profile on myspace in 2008

I the beginning there were just really low quality demo recordings on it, we were working on a new song, but couldn't finish it until now. In the beginning I was a lot online, made a lot af new friends and for some reason we were in the Myspace Top Artists for Hungary in the genres Blues and Indie we topped position 2. This was quite uncomfortable with real shit demos.

So we quit promoting the page until the new recording was finished. By the end of february we had the recording done and started again. Although there hadn't been any movement for a couple of months. We were still on position 20 in the Blues charts on Myspace. We uploaded the new song, reached positions 2 (Blues), 9 (Indie) and 80 (Rock) on the weekend. And the they kicked us out. Some person or program completeltely removed us from the Top bands.

It's not dropping, we're out. I don't know exactly, how Myspace charts work, but this seems to be impossble unless someone manipulated it or a severe program error happened. If you have any eyperience or knowledge in this question, please let me know. I'd like to know, what happened. It's not the fact, that we are not in the charts. I can live with that. We're probably not the best band on the planet, we just love doing, what we do. It's the way it happened.

I think it's better to discuss this in public, because there is definitely something wrong. Newest problem: The play counter got stuck. And this doesn't only affect my profile. I doubt that many people add me to their friends without even listening. They either have severe problems with the data base synchronisation or some multi record company hacked the thing up. The more people know, the better. I posted the same topic on myspace, with no reaction.
What is exeactly your problem? And where are you located? Hungary, too or somewhere else?

And let's be fair, Myspace is a great thing which offers us a lot of possibilities. Just nowadays something goes really wrong.

They fixed the problem, whatever it was. We jumped to #1 in the Hungarian Myspace blues charts. It actually means nothing, because we have an international fan base thanks to Myspace and Hungary is a small country. But nevertheless, we are awfully proud of it.
If you are interested, try it: Myspace music -> Top Artists  Country = Hungary, genre = blues then press the update button. And there we are. Nice and yellow:  'Return of the Dog Rose'.

Well, it's not a blues song at all, our bluesy song are not out yet, but a #1 is alwas a reason to party.
