They have 2 good drummers, why did they use a drum machine?
They had years and years to get the drums right naturally after all!

I dont think it was a replacement but proberly ,like White-rider said, to create demos and experiment  :thumbsup:

Exactly, and that is what Guns N Roses did, the use of drum machines is actually one of the things that I find really attractive about the way the albums sounds, especially on I.R.S.
