Drum machines are cool if you use them as a drum machine or sampler and not a replacement for authentic drums

They have 2 good drummers, why did they use a drum machine?
They had years and years to get the drums right naturally after all!

Exactly, and that is what Guns N Roses did, the use of drum machines is actually one of the things that I find really attractive about the way the albums sounds, especially on I.R.S.
IT IS REALLY HAPPENING!

wasnt saying that man, i know they use em the way they should be used, i was just saying its cool in responce to polars statement.

Fuucking A man, totally love the way it sounds on there

when demoing i use addictive drums conver ther pattern to wav, put it in cubase then play over it, then when we record properly our drummer does it naturally
+1 ... or to create simple high quality Demos ... :)

i'm only using "MAGIX-MUSIC-STUDIO-2007-DELUXE". it's all in there:

Review
MAGIX Music Studio 2007 is a powerful yet easy to use application that allows you to record and arrange audio and MIDI music in a professional way. With this incredible program you can take full advantage of the numerous virtual instruments and unbeatable tools for trouble-free home recording, flexible arrangement and perfect sound design on 64 tracks. The application includes several software drum machines including LiViD, which introduces minor timing variations into the track to make it sound more human. Samples are arranged by pitch, so it is easy to choose samples that work with each other, but they are numbered rather than described by key or pitch, making it harder to follow a particular chord progression. Moreover, the program features a very simple and intuitive user interface which makes it really easy for beginners. A great thing about this program is the integrated Auto JamSession, which allows you to have a perfect accompaniment every time, showing you all tracks in the arranger which can be edited in just as much detail as your own productions. All in all, if you are getting started in the world of computer music, MAGIX Music Studio 2007 is perfect for you. Please note that this version is no longer available for download, but here you can get the latest one which includes improved features.
Advantages

    * Easy to use. Simple and intuitive user interface. Great value for its price.

   Disadvantages

    * None.

If you listen to some of the songs its obvious a drum machine was used it would be impossible to get the sound using a drummer alone its just not possible.
Finally back on the internet!!!!

did you try the 'LivId' drum-machine from MusicMAker studio deluxe 2007? it's both: a drum machine + you can choose minor 'human-ability-effects', which make it appear 'more human'.

Both of those are different models. Seems like they are both his custom models, if you look you can see a symbol and the words Brain on it. Their is a influence of hip hop on Chinese Democracy. The drums do sound hip hop on the songs mentioned.

Nevermind, I'm sure your intentions weren't bad.
You know that I like you and your style, as I already stated this more than once.
I nearly already forgot about that and I can 'only slightly' remember.

I dont like it at all. I think all songs from CD would be even better without eletronic drums and only one drummer playing in it.
