One of the bosses is named Jens Volkmer (36); really great guy that I got to know through karting. I trust him, but he's aware, I'd kick his ass just in case of ... but he shows no signs of fear - far from it! :)

Les Paul...

my question is this.. I've yet to see any clips of Ashba playing a Les Paul, and to me at least, a Les Paul frontman is as much GN'R as anything is.  Slash of course set the expectation, but with Robin and Bucket both having used one as well, quite frankly I can't see many GN'R songs sounding right without one.  Does anyone know more about Ashba and whether he ever uses one/ intends to do so with GN'R?  This whole thing is a little strange, a little surreal, a little falling apart as far as exactly what GN'R "is" anymore, but surely this is one thing that will stay intact?

I think Axl really likes the sound of Les Pauls, so I bet Ashba will use one, maybe not all the time, but for the most part
IT IS REALLY HAPPENING!

So you better preper for disapointment. Ron would mainly play double neck Vigier and Les Paul in parts but Ashba signed the papers for Custom guitar from Ernie Ball/Music Man he has been playing those guitars for years. So I doubt he will use les paul. If Music Man makes good job it will sound just perfect. You dont need Gibson to sound properly even in Gnr songs. And Axl himself doesnt use Gibson but PRS
Axl Rose is Guns N' Roses, for more informatio0n buy "Contraband" or "Libertad"

Check him out on 15th guitar during maddy in Rio 01    and if you have a really good ear, you can hear his 2 chords on TWAT, at least thats what the booklet says....
