To think that the complete album is a hidden payback to the original band members is simply wrong.

Out of all songs only "Sorry" fits in that scheme.
People should post the lyrics for all other songs and how the lyrics should fit in that scheme mentioned above instead of simply trying to make anti-GnR posts.

Back on topic:
Yeah, the record seems to be about pain most of the time, but I wouldn't call it "hate" or "enemies".
Even if you are still thinking about something or someone after years it doesn't mean that your feelings must reach the point of hate.

I hate how everybody seems to think the former band members are Axl's biggest problem.  He has a lot more to write about than Slash.
"chinese democracy MIGHT start now" -GnRForLife
Let me get this straight.  Song #2 is NOT, I repeat, N-O-T Prostitute.
"He's in my ass! That's where Slash is! Fuckhead! Go Home!" -W Axl Rose

DrunkenNights never misses a chance to trash Axl Rose.  I wonder if his girl fucked Axl on a down-under tour one time????

I would find it boring if he wrote a bunch of songs about hating Slash.... I would much rather listen to music I can connect to like some love songs or something with real emotion rather than some throwaway crap about Slash. I think the second(?) verse of Sorry is about Slash, right after the Slash like guitar solo... the begining seems to be about the media

but Mr Rose is very stupid to think that the original lineup will run and enter to a music shop JUST to buy the chinese democracy album, those guys wouldn't spend one second to hear its songs(which are for sure full of insults to them ....)

...all i can imagine is slash laughing at rose just 'cause the new album isn't selling 1 cd in u.s.a right now! there Ford and General Motors are planning to close and kick all their employees soon so can you imagine u.s.a teens and their parents buying the new gnr album? ....so i sadly guess that the record company and axl truly selected a bad time to promote it,all what axl had to do was show that album in 2005,that way everything wouldn't be so BLUR to him TODAY but he ever thought he could be the most expensive celebrity(but he's now noticed how much he was wrong about!)

....even most u.s.a people don't see new gnr promoting "the aswome album over there these times"

i love it this way! :gay: :violin: :gay:

I guess drunken is hoping that if the second album comes out it is full of light hearted fun music. I dont think so if we ever hear anymore from GnR I believe it will be the same style, maybe a little darker, but I gurantee Axl would put a couple of ballads on it. Id bet that Thyme and Seven are ballads. And rocking with The General,Soul Monster,Zodiac and whatever else. And if Im wrong oh well, To the bar, thats a take.

Everyone always demonizes Axl.  That's why it's so easy to believe the ex-band members when they're trash talking him.  I think Axl is just a depressed guy that wishes people would respect him, especially his old friends.  He probably needed to be a control-monger with all of those druggies in his band...

At least Shackler's Revenge and Sorry are obviously about the ex-bandmates, but there's no doubt that some of the songs are directed to Stephanie Seymor (or more specifically to her son). Haven't you read the Axl interview from 2000? Here's a quote:
"Having stayed publicly silent so long, Rose appears to view the album as a final offering-up of his side of all his myriad battles - notably with his estranged band mates and, even more painful, with his one time fiancee, supermodel Stephanie Seymour, with whom he had an ugly split. He speaks of his desire for Seymour's son to someday be able to come across the new record. ''I hope he'll hear it when he grows up, if he ever wants to know the story, to hear the truth,'' Rose says."

I don't think Axl ever thought that the original lineup would run to a store just to buy the album. That's ridiculous! But we do know that at least Slash and Duff have heard the album and they both thought it was great.

...first off, i don't give a fuck about axl's lovers

...second, how could you be that idiot to tell that Duff and Slash have heard the chinese democracy album when it's just like pausely watching your girl while another man insides her down into your bed in front of you!  >(

...the true members want to know nothing from NEW GNR since axl and his musicians are around pretending to be the TRUE BAND!, new members took the dignity of the original lineup away when they decided to be a vulgar part of the gnr story!  :puke:

even though Duff and Slash don't know that you exist!...even they wouldn't phone you to tell about hearing the NEW GNR  SUTFF....so you better find another naive way to lies to us 'cause we're gnr fans and not real wankers!  :finger:

...chinese democracy is an album to.....you know what i mean!
