I wouldn't pay 10 to see him.

They'd have to pay me 10 plus a Hoagie sandwich just to consider it. And I would probably still turn them down.

The dates have since been taken off Steven's Myspace. But when I asked them, the person in charge of the Drum Section told me that the 26th of May was yet to be confirmed, as they are still working out Visa's and things like that. He told me that tickets would cost about $15-$20, but not too much more than that, and that it would be a workshop and meet and greet.

Yeah the guy I emailed named Vince said to keep checking the Allans website and that it should be confirmed within two weeks
thanks for the info aussie

Steven has a month free between 22 May -27 June according to his myspace

22 May 2009     9:00 P
SOUTH TEXAS ROCKFEST    San Antonio, Texas
27 Jun 2009    9:00 P

Bought my ticket today. Really looking forward to it. If I get to meet him I've got a drum skin for him to sign and a couple of questions I want to ask. Like, who's singing on the track he's drumming on for Slash's solo album.

Well they originally only put 50 on sale, because its being held up stairs at Allans, so if 75 have been old, that means there is only a few left anyway. I doubt it will get cancled.

Went to the Drum Clinic last night, it was fucking great. I was sitting front row when Steven came out, he was playing about two metres in front of me. He played Jungle, Sweet Child, Nightrain, Brownstone, Rocket Queen, Paradise City and I think one more song. He just played along to the CD. Then he answered questions from the audience. I asked him what ever happened to "Guns Of Destruction" with Tracii Gunns and he had no idea what I was talking about. He looked over to his manager (Steven Sprite) and Sprite said that Tracii advertised Adler as playing without contacting them. He also told me it was a good question and that i keep on top of the news . I also asked him who the singer is on the track he's playing on for Slash's solo album. He replied with "I dono, I'm just happy I'm playing on it". He played a brief drum solo as well. Once he came off stage he came over to me and my drummer and said hi and then went downstairs. WE went and got in line to get our stuff signed and he remembered us after and actually seemed happy to see us. I got my picture taken with him and got him to sign a picture from the Appetite days and a drum skin. Then I went and spoke with his manager some more. He started asking about my band and then my drummer told him "When Adlers Appetite come out here in a few months (Adler said they were coming out to Australia soon) you should get Vanity (our band) to open for them." then Steven Sprite said "well we don't know anyone else" and handed me his business card and told me to email him a demo and stuff. That was cool. I doubt anything will come of it. But it was cool.

Extra Notes:
Adler is planning on releasing a book called "My Appetite For Destruction" in January.
Adlers Appetite are heading into the studio to record an original album in July.

cool. that is one of the things i love about Steven. he's always really cool to his fans and everybody that hangs with him has a positive story afterwards.

on the Tracii Guns matter: damn, i was hoping to see G.O.D. doing something....

on the album matter: is it deffo an original album? he said in an interview that they were about to make an cover album....

So Adler is definitely bringing Adler's Appetite back to Australia soon?
That's going to be so sweet if it happens
