Seriously this song is amazing

Everything from the Solo, to the ending burst of passion.
Hearing the ending gives me Chills sometimes

And i think the solo is amazing, so different yet perfect

I remember back in 2002/2003 people were always talking about how bad a player Finck was, but i always said "he deserves to be in GNR for that solo alone if not anything else".

I think a lot of people have though becasue of This I Love, both really good piano songs, the biggest difference is we haven't been listening to one of them for eight years

It's a good song no doubt, but IMO there are many more songs on Cd which are better

Anyway, i must say This I Love always seems to me to be the darker twin of Street Of Dreams...
And i prefered the name 'The Blues'

no one could understand why he said "ok, nevermind".

even if he said that to a soundman or assistant or smth like that in the backstage still it was like so much fit in the song. and he could even get the idea and include that in the studio version

It was to a soundman, there was a problem with his in ear monitor.

I was never that big on the song to begin with. And since I haven't listened to much of CD since January the song means nothing. It is quite a song though.
