SLASH Performs With FERGIE In Detroit; Video Footage, Photos Available

Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash joined Fergie (a.k.a. Stacy Ann Ferguson) of the BLACK EYED PEAS on stage this past Sunday (April 5) at the NCAA Big Dance concert at the Riverfront in Detroit, Michigan for a performance of GN'R's "Sweet Child o' Mine" and HEART's "Barracuda", a frequent cover song in Fergie's repertoire.

Slash's wife Perla Hudson said in a video interview at Rockerrazzi.com that both Ozzy Osbourne and Fergie will make guest appearances on her husband's upcoming solo album. Slash himself told The Pulse of Radio that he was still working out the guest list. "I'm using different singers for each song, so we're figuring out which song goes with which person and I'm not sort of divulging the list of singers, but they're all well-known singers and...sort of, you know, like I go and play on a lot of other people's records, so I'm just making a record and gonna have people come play on this one, you know."

Slash left GUNS N' ROSES in the mid-'90s, forming SLASH'S SNAKEPIT before later assembling VELVET REVOLVER with several other ex-members of GUNS N' ROSES and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS singer Scott Weiland.

VELVET REVOLVER is currently searching for a replacement for Weiland, who was dismissed in April 2008.

Obviously Slash's guitar was out of tune, I don't have a clue why but that's how it was.
He played this shit a million times, how dare you say he can't play it and that he sucks at SCOM ?

because I said I will support him as the new guitarist. I am a Guns N' Roses fan first and foremost and Robin is no longer in GNR right? So i accept that. I have never bashed Ashba. I would have preferd if Robin was still in GNR but that is not the case. The point made was the Robin plays SCOM better than Slash did in that video. You brought up Ashba playing it better than Robin (even though no video exist of him playing it, at least to my knowledge)

no you know, maybe L!VE is saying that because he have heard his works with sixx am and etc.

I myself think that Ashba can play SCOM more beautiful and with more feeling than robin.

however for me GNR VER 2 have finished when robin gone. he was never a bluesy or slash like (traditional hard rock..) kind of player but no doubt he was a gift from god to AXL.

robin's sound was modern, industrial, but with his own feelings into it that It took so long time for me to understand him and like him. but then after I was getting used to him he left!

It's actually not. He's a hard rock style player, he just is mainly involved with Industrial stuff.
