Slash donates artwork to charity bag auction
« on: April 16, 2009, 06:46:40 AM »
I've found a charity auction website where you can bid for bags where the artwork has been donated by Slash to help raise money for charity, these bags are exclusive in the UK to BuyOnceGiveTwice, take a look

Wow, the media whore attenion seeker is now entering into the charity market.
Now im just waiting for the moment where he can make some dumb ass comment about the current gnr,
just to publicize himself even further, and if we are lucky, he might even give us an update about a new singer hes found for a band that no one gives a shit about.

Slash doesn't give a shit about the current GN'R. and to be realistic, few people do.

VR has maaaany fans so yes people care about the singer.

do you get paid to show him disrespect and bash him?

do you get shown loyalty for a band that has been looking for a new singer for months now?

And judging by all the positive reviews for chinese democracy on rockband 2
Even from all the nu gnr haters, I think it will be safe to say,
Gnr will dominate the general public from now on  over velvet revolver.

Velvet revolver are finished, Scott made that band what it was, and even though it wasn't much of a band when Scott was in it, it will always be better then hiring some no body trying to imitate Scotts voice on the ol'e vr um.. 'classics' (if you want to call them that)

but let me know next year when Velvet Revolver updates their forum with any news in regards to the bands status

i waited more then a decade for Axl, so i think i can wait for Slash for a couple of years at least.

when VR gets new singer and starts making albums [aka = when the band is active again.] and GN'R starts touring we'll see. Axl & Slash have equally many fans and Axl has way many more haters then Slash, so i'd say Slash is more popular in the publics eyes.

Velvet revolver are finished,
wrong
Scott made that band what it was,
wrong again Contraband's material was mainly written by Slash, Duff, Matt & Dave and that album sold million copies, and then Scott wrote much of Libertad and that album didn't sell shit. i'll admit that he draw STP fans attention to the band, but Slash & Duff & Matt being back together was what made most of the fans.
and even though it wasn't much of a band when Scott was in it, it will always be better then hiring some no body trying to imitate Scotts voice on the ol'e vr um.. 'classics' (if you want to call them that)
they don't play many GN'R covers, (in fact i have only seen It's So Easy, Brownstone & Patience) so i doubt that they'll play more then just FTP and Slither and DLT on their next tour since Scott ain't there.

but let me know next year when Velvet Revolver updates their forum with any news in regards to the bands status
will do.

(the VR forum are kinda boring though. it's like a VR office but not VR community and the admin is a dick. i go there every now and then just to check what's happening with Slash, Duff & Scott (he still has his own section there like the other members) and they keep up on the GN'R & STP section too so it's nice.

but i like how people rarely if ever seem to hate Axl there. they get pissed when he bashes Slash but they don't bash him to start with)

Gunns.. Not sure where you get off criticizing any band when you're a Gn'R fan these days.

Its like the pig in the straw house, telling the pig in the stick house that his house is shit.

Lets see what VR does after all of its members are done with their side projects this year.

Lets see what Gn'R does in 10 years.

Personally, I think charity donations should be anonymous.

Well really the only reason anyone gave a fuck about VR was because it was Slash and Duff. Scott brought something to the mix that will be hard to replace but seriously what was up with Libertad?

Slash did many many charity things in the past, in present and will do in the future, it's nothing new. So no, he's not entering into the charity market. It started with the 'Children Of The Night' show in 1990...

No need to freak out or to call him a media whore, really.
