He disappeared.  A poster here was talking about perhaps the same man and claimed to hear The General over the phone by him.  Whether it was the same person I was referring to remains a mystery.

As for all of you people freaking out about me telling you this, sorry for sharing information?

who cares, it doesn't matter now anyway.

After the sqwerl incident, its basically scared all the hoarders away from doing anything.

So it doesn't matter anymore if theres a little or alot of demo tracks out there, we will have very little chance at getting them (thank god). Im still just hanging out for the 17 minute VMA2002 rehearsal

I mainly want the demos so I have different versions than the studio ones that are final, the comparisons and evolutions of the various tracks fascinates me.

Same here. What's great as an individual fan is knowing some of these songs you've been listening to as far back as early 2006 and still today loving them.

Totally, the 1999 versions are so different also, it is fun to tell people a finished song actually was ready in some form that long ago.

The Sqwerl thing was different. Nobody can track down someone sharing something via an internet forum.
But posting hitherto unknown songs and new versions of known songs on your own weblog is like... dumb.

He almost begged to be made an example of  :?:

It's funny how I once thought "When CD's out, I'll never have to see that sentence again!"......

I just hope there's three or four albums worth of songs in that bicycle basket.

Yeah, it was me but it was a topic that got deleted. We're allowed to say some things but commenting on the most obvious things like a huge basket representing a container for a lot of something inside (in this case hopefully more songs) gets erased.
