if i can just defend the middle ages, 3/4 of people put on trial for witchcraft were acquitted. There exists only 2 known cases where 'witches' may have been burned to death, the rest were hanged.

unfortunately the Iron Maiden doesn't work in practise, it's been tested and to close the thing properly due to angling you would need to drive a small car into the door of the devise to close it which would lacerate the victim inside before it spiked him.

A remake of the model would need to be made in which the walls encroach inwards naturally by a machine as opposed to the Iron Maiden of old which i would like to add has never been recorded as ever being used
