I eat meat. Shamelessly. I don't even think about the life my meal once had. Comes naturally I suppose. But in all fairness they taste better dead. And if human meat tasted as good I'd eat it too. :) Just not my own...

WAIT WHAT.

 Its true! Ibet if humans tasted nice we'd eat poor people. (Not that I'd agree with it I just rekon in poor countries people would get killed for meat and there would be some ridiclious laws that allows it to be possible)

*bump*

I read through some of this thread, and i gotta say, som people here will pick a fight over anything. I do eat a moderate amount of meat in my diet. Contrary to what the vegetarians and vegans might think, fact is eating a moderate amount of meat is the healthiest way to live. I'm notr saying you can't be healthy on a vegetarian diet, but it will take a lot more effort, and stiill will not make on as healthy as somebody who lives the same way as has a balanced diet. Vegetaorians who choose to  be simply because they think it's healthier are misinformed by a certain group within the government, media, and scientific community who believe that they have to make new trends for the masses to follow, thereby having another way to rake in the dough. Now, if you choose to be a vegetarian because you just do not like the taste of meat and prefer vegetables, fruits, grains...etc flavor-wise, then go for it i dont understand but more power to ya  :) Those who choose to be vegetarian because of how cruelly animals are treated when being prepared, raised, and slaugHtered... well i can certainly sympathize because I too have a love for anials but the harsh reality is that you not eating meat is actually doing nothing to stop ths sort of thing. All it means is that they will still raise and slaughter the same amount of animals every year, only now they will be going in a landfill somewhere instead of into your stomach. they will have died completely in vain.

Oh, man. All these years I've been a vegetarian on the false belief that I was actually doing something good to my body, but I guess I was wrong. Thank you so much for enlightening me...

Seriously, if you can provide me with a number of scientific research papers on how being a healthy vegetarian can't even be compared to eating "moderate" amounts of meat, because that is so much healthier. Regardless, the problem is, my friend, that people don't eat moderate amounts of meat. I think the recommender amount is around 100-125 grams daily(in Norway, anyway). Which is like...nothing. You can have like a burger, and you already exceeded the recommended amount. U.S food pyramid says like 2-3 servings of fish/meat/poultry and the recommended serving size is 2-4 OUNCES. So, figure the rest out yourself.

Personally, I'm not against eating meat, once in a while, even weekly. But fact is that people eat enormous amounts of it, and that just isn't good for you. If you eat moderate amounts, then good, along with a wide variety of veggies, fruits etc it can be healthy, but when your dinner is like a pound of beef with potatoes on the side... two words, colon cancer.

European meat, is one thing. American meat however...fuck that shit. I'm sorry but unless you're eating organic certified meat, I'd avoid it at all cost with it's growth hormones, sex hormones etc... ugh. No wonder girls are getting their periods earlier and earlier each year with all that shit theyre takin in.

You didn't notice he's highlighted and underlined certain letters throughout his post that spell out the word 'troll'?

hehe I tricked someone at least

It's not like a was going for something on the caliber of the 9/11 conspiracy here.
Just a harmless little ruse to see if i could get anyone riled up then have a laugh at them. Great Success!

for the record I've given a lot of thought to becoming a vegetarian, and have stopped eating pork already. problem is I lack the discipline required. One day I'll man up and take the leap
