Not only do I cook and eat deer I even hunt it. Deer is one of my favorite foods

Wearing fur is one of the most sickening things to me.

In Switzerland we don't have awful things like that or at least we have a minimum of good conditions, that is an extreme video of degenerated extreme vegans.

I save snails when it rains, because i love them. In fact i'm a consious person who tries to make good choices while eating meat, fish and eggs (that i consciously choose, so that i'm sure it comes from happy chicken).

I read a thing about Coop Naturafarm pigs (swiss thing) in a Coop magasine, i loved the way they did to have happy and correctly fed pigs and said their meat was better.

Lapsed vegetarian reporting in.

I didn't eat meat for 2 years. Just as part of a healthy diet, I wasn't a 'meat is murder' vegetarian. I had a couple of BBQ related slip-ups and then gave myself an ultimatum to commit or stop calling myself a vegetarian, I did the latter.

I still only eat meat rarely and I never eat red meat. I love fish though, I eat it nearly every day. There is so much variety and it's so good for you.

animals in cages do not live in good conditions ANYWHERE in the world... (Switzerland included)
This video (and thousands more that you can find on the net) are not extreme and have not been made by extreme vegans. If you believe anything like that you are fool... These conditions exist almost everywhere in the whole world... People make their choices. I have nothing against people that eat meat... it's their choice and I've done the same for most of my life. I just don't like it when they criticize vegans/vegetarians, I don't like it when they criticize me. I don't like listening all the stupid things about the protein & vitamins intake... I am very healthy and I feel very good with myself and my body. I eat more things now than I used to when I was eating meat. I became a vegetarian before watching those kind of videos and before watching earthlings (http://veg-tv.info/Earthlings). I also had no idea how cruel is to force cows to make more and more milk by having them on machines all day long and by giving them hormones. I had no idea that chickens were staying awake with spot lights 24x7 in order to produce/sit eggs. I never thought that for most of my cosmetics and perfumes there are animals that die on testing... I made a conscious choice and decided to leave animals out of my plate, out of my wardrobe, out of my cosmetics etc... it just didn't feel right to me to love one animal and eat, wear or use another. I was so depressed when my cat was sick and most vets back then told me to put him to sleep. I did not. I paid lots of money in surgeries in order to save him and I never had second thoughts. Then it all came to my mind... like why didn't I eat rabbits that it's one of the most popular dishes in Greece... guess why... cause I had a rabbit as a pet when I was young... Why didn't I eat lamb? Cause I was used to play with them at my aunt's yard when I was a kid... So my question really was... Why love one animal and eat or use another???
I don't eat meat, I don't wear leather or fur, I don't use products that have been tested on animals. Unfortunately there are very few vegan/leaping bunny certified products that you can find at the moment in Greece but my journey to small bio stores never ends... and every day I keep finding something new that excites me even more  I am not a person that will try to talk down the meat eaters but saying that you eat meat cause the meat industry in your country is good is a really bad excuse. You eat meat just because you like it and because you think that it's ok to do. One of my colleagues from France said exactly the same thing that you said... That the conditions there are good... but he didn't know what to answer to me when I showed him a video of how to make "foie gras", a gourmet French dish...  Whatever I do, I do it for myself and for my love to animals. In Switzerland you do have awful things like that... you just don't want to believe it...

Maybe...but well if everybody watches out and refuses cruelty like also foie gras. And soja is just disgusting, how the hell can veggies eat tofu
