what about the Vox VT15? ive heard good things about both the cube and the vox?

Both good amps. VT15 has better cleans and effects than the cube. Very good for rock and hard rock but doesn't quite have that edge for metal. The cube has less channels and effects but is quite nice for metal.

i just got a Vox ADVT50XL

beastly amp, may be to heavy for what your looking for, but the normal valvetronix range is great for rock. i got mine for £200 so its cheap aswel

Cba to check if this has already been mentioned but have you tried the Laney LC15? Pretty decent 15 watt all tube amp at an affordable price.

Small enough to practice at home, got very nice cleans and an awesome crunch. Cus it's a tube amp and not a digital modeling amp it'd react better to your peddles too. It's perfect for hard rock.

Just depends what you're looking for i guess.

yo dude thanks for that, i youtube'd this one since your post and im defo gonna have to get down to a music shop n find this to play on it. Seeing as im lookin for the hard rock UYI type sound this could be a good choice, infact its winning now. :thumbsup:
