No. Sentimentality will always put them up there simply because they were one of the metal bands that started me on the path to good music,gave me an appreciation for how meaningful sound can be,set off my interest in guitar, and built a bridge towards appreciating heavier,more complex metal/hard rock.I'm grateful/loyal and that's why I'm here. They aren't among my favourite bands currently at all though,I'll rarely listen to GnR anymore,maybe put on Nighttrain every now and then..Can't really comment on the new material as havent given it enough of a chance yet but it's not impressing me so far tbh.
