Could anyone tell me why at this point of the year, we havent seen any news at all? I mean we have no band? or maybe the tour is not going to happend do to the lack of interest in the band..... or maybe all the members are doind there own proyects who knows...... as many of you I thought that bringing a new Guitarrist , would translate in to a tour or whatevere shit... but cmon guys not even a video?......this is worst than not having CD at all, beacuse we all listen to the record, we have it, we know how great it is, and it is not exploited, not with a single on the radio, and  worst, not even with a video. I mean this is not normal, not even Old GnR did this. 

Anyone has any clue at all.

i think lot of it has to do with axl even tho he says its the label, he might just feel old right now and in no mood to tour the world or spend every day talking to interviewers.....if i were him i would just deal with it and get the show on the road!!

No clue. I just hope that it hasn't come to the point where Axl and Gn'R aren't as profitable anymore. If the bigwigs think that, then we just might be doomed.

I think they are doomed! Sadly.. To tour Chinese Democracy now would make no business sense. It's been a complete disaster (Although I personally like it!).

The world wants good old fashioned Rock N'Roll right now. I was AC/DC on Friday at Wembley. It was fantastic, a proper band who do what they do with no bull shit.
Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Steven is G N'R or at least the only GN'R that the majority of people care about. The Album sales prove that. I REALLY HOPE THEY GET BACK TOGETHER BEFORE IT'S TO LATE.

He is an artist, a musician, a performer. But he's not... attention starved? He's not... struggling to pay his bills (that we know of, certainly not like other MTV washouts). He doesn't HAVE to do ANYTHING we think of when we think of rockbands. He's not done a full crazy schedule since 2006. Before that, it was 1993.

Maybe he doesn't LIKE touring anymore? No reason to speculate. But just imagine almost 50 and saying "you know what, I don't have to try and be this THING anymore, I can do anything I want."

Chinese Democracy's release released ME, as a fan, from trying to wish and hope this band to be something that it wasn't. Whatever happens, happens. Most of the trouble in his life seems to have been trying to remake something and fulfill some sort of calling or role as a rockstar or musician or artist. People change. Since religion isn't his thing, maybe he's taken up ballet.

Or maybe he's getting ready to try again.

Almost certain...when things actually happen, we will know from an official source...and if anything does happen to leak, no one believe it til an official source has said it's true...

As a GnR fan for most of my life...it gets to a stage where it's like...I can't wait to see what happens next, but whenever it does happen is cool...no point in getting ure tits in a twist.

I tend to disagree Izzy, it's not like the old lineup split the day before yesterday..
I mean we all know that an old lineup seems impossible, so let's just get on with it, i mean for me
I don't give a monkeys arse who is in the band really, for me Axl is Guns n' Roses and no Bumble bee
or Bucketmaster or Motherbrain makes a lot of difference on the "Brand", they made the record what it is now, a masterpiece for me and sure its a shame (if) they don't tour together if it happens which i tend to think it will, because they are absolut A1 musicians, but I'd just like to see a Tour in general, if the musicians are as talented as the above mentioned. I have no clue just like all of us why it's so "quiet" at the moment, busy rehearsing and shooting Videos i
guess Or watching Dexter Blurays on continuous repeat in Malibu..

I still cannot stop listening to the CD, i just don't get bored with it, i so rarely have that with a record.
I love it and think that Vids and a Tour would just define it, because it's so worth the effort.
And whilst i wait i shall mourn MJ's loss further. THAT'S worth the time..
