Because there is no new's to tell. Hopefully we hear something from Axl or someone about a tour, interveiw or something. You can't stay silent for an entire year.

It would be cool, but highly doubt it, if GN'R do play at the VMA's this year. I just kept thinking it might jumpstart GN'R again. They might perform there, re-release Chinese Demcracy in general store's with correct lyrics, a different booklet and album cover and bonus tracks "Oh My God" and Silkworms" to name some possible ones. Release tour dates for a early-mid 2010 World tour, and release the Better video, or a video for a song. But then again, I 100% doubt it, but would be 100% shocked if it happens....the more I think about it, there's no chance.

Would be cool though.

Axl has no confidence in his new lineup.The 2002 lineup with Bucket, Brain, and Robin was the goods and the 2009 lineup with Bumble, DJ, and Frank isn't even close to being worthy of playing under the GNR banner.

good point. the band isnt tight enough to perform at the high standards expected, regardless of the fact that individually they are all exceptional

This is not a band anymore... its Axl's hobbie...theres nothing left for GNR to prove, we should be happy to still have GNR on the active though... at least i do!

Axl will only come out, when something is in the process of happening. Like he did in all these years we've waited.

theres prolly alot of behind the scenes stuff going on that we don't know about. they prolly have to deal with before they can tell us what's going on.

and before they can tour Axl has to hire an orchestra to recreate all the synth in some of the songs
