If you go into sections, like the jungle for example, where there are new replies and posts it says "NEW" but also has a box with a red X in, like something hasn't loaded.

I used 2.0 and we had to downgrade!  It was too unstable!  Plus with a site as big as yours........  I dont know.  Anyways I am offering my help if you desire with making sure you don't take any miss steps.  Hit me up on MSN.

I'd just prefer the unread topics to be highlighted (bold) as it used to be, now with the "new" sign it's less transparent and pleasant for the eyes, but whatever...

I was for a long time away ... boooaaaa there is a new design or/and even completely new app. for the forum. Cool! 

For me is the design not so very important, maybe a little bit 
The most important thing is the useability, and there is a little problem, that we have had once already.
I think the most important thing is to see if I viewed a post already or not. Before the relaunch I could recognize all posts that I didn't viewed or there was a reply, because these were marked bold. Now I always have the impession I already viewed evreything or noone is posting.
