Dude I don't even know YOU.  We're talking about Gn'R here.
You said some shit I didn't agree with and I posted what I felt. Thats that.

not to take anyone's side but I think Iconic is right. this is a forum. and it means that we should post whatever we think and feel.

Axl Rose may bring Guns N' Roses to the seat of Chinese democracy, namely Taipei, Taiwan, to kick off the Asian leg of their Chinese Democracy World Tour.

GN'R are not dead, just sleeping. Soon enough the monster known as GUNS N' ROSES will rise again.

I have a few ideas: maybe a tour, later this year or next year, who knows, but i have a feeling they will tour eventually. Release a music video and try to get some promotion on Chinese Democracy, maybe do a acoustic set on MTV or something just to get back on the radar somewhat. As for now, nothing has happened, no new new's about anything, no interveiws, no video, and no friggin tour! Well Axl were still waiting.

Maybe you just need a little patience. Maybe Axl know's what he's doing, maybe he doesn't, well just have to wait and see.

It's obvious a reunion tour with the original line-up is out of the question.

GN'R will make a comeback and then world domination
He's the one you call Dr. Feelgood, he's gonna make you feel alright!

for another mostly-AFD tour, in different lineup (I wonder what a great musician will I discover this time!), with full mouth of promises, and then everything just stops and disappears. this is called... massive and groundbreaking promotion, or something like that as Azoff said.

good point, i.e. Robin Finck made me listen to NIN. then I became a huge NIN fan, watching NIN's "live beside you in time" made me interested in Aaron North's performance and by following his solo career I could find some more interesting music like Jubilee and then Icarus Line and this still continues...  :)

exactly. I discovered DOZENS of great musicians and bands, thanks to Axl's "revolving door of musicians" (I hate this term, but it's sort of true). Nine Inch Nails, Buckethead, Bumblefoot, various punk and experimental bands - I consider THIS the greatest gift he could deliver to me. GNR are... well... in a state of clinical death, just like in 1994-97.

Thats the great thing with Axl. He likes to experiment with different types of music and not just stay with basic rock.

there's nothing wrong with just staying with "basic rock". for example AC/DC's entire career.

also, there's nothing wrong with experimenting with different types of music (which is my favorite kind of music) but the problem is that Axl doesn't have the ability to deliver Music. however I think replacing DJ Tattoo with Robin Finck was not a good strategical move considering the fact that Axl wants to taste different types of music. the guy can't bring something new to GNR. the way Bucket and Robin both successfully could do and brought a breath of a fresh air to GN'R.
