lack thereof?...the crue have been touring since 2005...with 2 cruefests in their pocket, 2 albums..best of and studio...multiple videos..they even discovered a band in the midst with guitar center...I mean that's more material than GnR has put out in a loooong time...don't get me wrong I'm a huge GnR fan but Axl definitely has his own sense of reality...lawsuits or not..failed relationships..sharks,wolves,backstabbers..whatever the case may be you can keep in contact with the rest of the world without having to talk 'shop'..the guy just vanished or the rest of the world made it appear so...not to compare apples and oranges but the crue probably have had more lawsuits, mishaps, divorces, overdoses and deaths than every incarnation of GnR put together but the train kept a rollin' .....either case no one's obligated to wait'...and no one's obligated to serve those that do wait..
it would just be nice to have a little more GnR around but I think once it happens just like anything else..the hype will die...and people will just find shit to complain about anyways..
