**UPDATED** songs O' mine...
« on: August 28, 2009, 11:05:26 PM »
No intention of doing this, but regardless, hope this works... Just wanted some neutral opinions...

The song is called "Everwhere".

Below is a section of another song - it's the bridge, solo, riff and pre-chorus. The reason the whole song isn't up is because i can't stand the vocals, or rather, the delivery of the vocals, so they will be re-done soon. Plus, as with the previous song, this is just a first bounce on a mix. There's work to be done in that regard plus mastering (applies to both tracks). Just looking to gauge some response from you bunch, seeing as you are a neutral party, and an honest judge :D !

(YouTube makes both songs sound a little glitchy, probs due to the file size going from 50 odd MB .WAV to i think 6.3 or so in .wmv)

You Never:

yea at some point - thats just the bridge, solo and prechorus. there's a crap load at the start - intro, riffs, chorus' etc... then all that's missing at the end if the final chorus' - but i'll put it up once ive addressed the vocals.

Nice. 'You Never' has some strong potential. I like the vocals more in that one actually... I wouldn't change it. The low harmony is very Axl Rose....

thanks. I really like Axl's low stuff - End of November Rain, Shackler's ect... felt it fit that section of the song well and also was just quite good fun doing in the studio - there were all these monitors so i could see everyone in the control room, laughing their asses of while i did all these stupid voices and low parts! haha!
