People love Slash being Slash

People love Aerosmith being Aerosmith
People love ACDC being ACDC
People love Alice Cooper being Alice Cooper

People love GNR being GNR... CD disastrous success proved it.

You may not like that but c'est la vie. If you want to hear something else, then listen to something else...

The Paradise City 'cover' is about as bad as Slash could have managed. I mean, fair enough, there was no point in making it sound exactly like the original, but this is a vulgar reworking.

The a-side doesn't do anything for me either. Not awful, but not as engaging as it needs to be. Slash needs a proper band around him, clearly. Although that band obviously isn't GNR, coz while I'm no Slash hater by any means, these two pails of pallid piss form the best argument for the new GNR line-up yet. Something I take no pleasure in saying against the great man.
