It was rumoured a while ago that organizers from Sonisphere were in talks of bringing GNR to england.
well.
next week is gonna be a major anouncement about that festival

The Welwyn Hatfield Times understands that a major announcement about the two-day rock and metal event will be made early next week, with the headliners due to be revealed on Wednesday.


after all Gnr is touring again.. and it is posible that they will go there (since I already oppinion, think they'll do europe after asia/canada or the UK

Sonisphere have a major announcement to make at 6pm this evening.(UK Time, so literally one hours time)

GNR were linked last year, theyre linked this year, and I feel there is a strong possibility they will play.


Iron Maiden have a huge chance aswell.

You heard it here first!  (now I might end up looking like a dick haha)

As I have heard its almost certain that Maiden will headline so I would not hold my hopes up. But who knows

I didnt know that. If thats the case maybe there is a chance. But if its only one of Guns OR Maiden I would think its Maiden. But Guns will for sure play festivals that summer so even if they are not gonna play Sonisphere they will play something else.

Same here, it's the only festival that makes sense for their 2010 tour, since they did Download 2008 (slightly too soon to return), with the only other possibility being Reading/Leeds.

There will be two headliners- one for each day, and lets face it, you wouldnt get a much better combo than GUNS N ROSES and the mighty MAIDEN!

I've been saying to friends for weeks that this will be the lineup, its the one that adds up, espec with GNR's likely European tour this summer, and having not been here since 2006.
