Duff talks HOF

I have posted this on Here Today and MyGNR but I wanted to post it wherever so that people who aren't on one of the sites but are on another.

I occasionally listen to a sports podcast called, The Sports-Casters. Usually it has nothing to do with anything that would be relevant on this board, but much to my surprise, one of their guests today was Duff. Duff appears with SL Price and Michael Farber. If you aren't interested in the sports stuff you can skip ahead to the Duff interview at the (02:05:27) mark.

Duff directly responds to the hall of fame, the Velvet Revolver reunion, and there is some sports talk mixed in there.

What do you guys think of the interviews. I don't want to give any spoilers so I will save my opinion until more people have had the chance to listen.

All he says is that he'd like it if they could play. Even if Axl n Slash don't look each other in the eye. That's the main point anyone will want to hear.

He also said that he'd preferred him in Knightrider and that baywatch certainly had its moments.

I think all of the sarcasm and one sentence summaries are selling the  interview a little short. I thought Duff opened up quite a bit. I have no idea what the interviewer knows about GNR but he did a decent job.

A few things I took from the interview...

-It was pretty cool to hear Duff say that he was intimidated by the idea of writing a book. When you think of rock stars you don't think of them being intimidated by anything.
-Duff said that he plans on going to the HOF ceremony and he even mentioned words like adult, maturity, and it almost seemed like that was directed right at his former bandmates.
-Duff said he hasn't thought at all about what songs he would play only saying that during VR he got to play the songs he really enjoys playing.
-Interesting to hear Duff talk about geeing out in some of the stadiums that he has played in.
-He said that the VR show was a one off and they have no plans to do much else.

I really enjoyed it and I really do recommend it.
