What is the greatest cover ever?
« on: December 17, 2009, 06:44:12 PM »
I hear many say, Nirvana - Man who Sold the World..
Some say, Faith no More - Easy

What about Live n let Die by Guns, surely it tops the original??

What do you think?

Rocking the meta-cover.

I'll be your little eyes just lit up when you saw the opportunity to use the word meta-.

Anyway, this thread is nothing compared with the meta-poll.

I'd love to hear a studio version of GNR's Dust in the Wind cover by Todd Rundgren

Was there a meta-poll?  It sounds awesome, but my mind's drawing a complete blank on it.

and yeah, I do love a good 'meta-anything', the day I get to use 'pata-thread' I'm retiring from the internet.

Times They Are A-Changing by Eddie Vedder and Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley.

And Live and Let Die and whatever other covers GnR has ever done.
As long as this road seems, I know it's called the Street of Dreams.

brilliant cover. The original is a great song too! This might sound gay as fuck but i think Susan Boyle's Wild Horses cover is fantastic.
