More a fan of 1996-onwards, just find it more interesting. But appreciate the importance etc of the old lineup and still love that era's musical output.

I like both because they both are really good as different bands. The old line up has that raw hard power that I love from a rock n' roll band but the new line up has some really interesting experimental and melodic stuff that I find to be pretty interesting.

The old Line up is magic and no one can take that from them.

When those 5 guys would join in a room, writing and playing together, it was just magic... the albums were also magic, the band live was magic! Axl was much more professional then he is now... and we wouldn't take with this silence crap for so many years..

Now he just doesn't care... he has money, he has everything... so he just comes out when he feels like it and does whatever he wants to do even if that has to put a big stain on the name GNR or not.

I like both lineups equally.  they both had good and bad points.  I see the music being too different stylistically and difficult to compare

Equally. I love the new band. A lot. They seem to have a chemistry that to me just works.

But I love Slash. He has awesome hair and I refuse to believe he's a douche bag. And he's good at guitar :). And I love(d) his style. And, you know, the rest of the band back then was cool...

Idk I think I'm just more into there being almost 10 people on stage, idk it's a lot to look at and never boring when you have a parade of guys owning the stage.

Now that you ask I can't remember what was so special about old GnR anyway... :/
As long as this road seems, I know it's called the Street of Dreams.

Old.  The new line up is good, but seriously there far away from the classic band.

Old line up.

I loved the bucket era though.

The current lineup is pretty uninspiring tbh.

The 2010 band is the best yet. The only band to be better than the classic one. Hopefully this one stays.

Old. I like the band now, but it can't even compare to the chemistry and attitude they had back in the day.
