Slash did not disappoint his loyal fans last night when he, Angry Anderson and Wolfmother's Andrew Stockdale ignited The Palace Theatre in Bourke St for the launch of the new MTV Classic channel.

He might have given booze and drugs the boot, but Slash, aks Saul Hudson is still a hell raiser at heart who was ready to party.
While he rocked out at the launch of the MTV Classic channel last night, it was after the event that the uber guitarist wanted to really let his hair down, saying he intend to check out Melbourne King St strip clubs with his wife Perla.
Video Link Australia Only Picture Gallery"(Melbourne band) Juke Kartel told us to go to Spearmint Rhino,'' Slash said, with his wife adding they intended to have a "big night and go off with a bang in Melbourne.''
Musos and sexy celebs, including Ruby Rose, Sophie Lowe, Wayne Carey, Michael Gudinski, and April Rose Pengily, rocked up in droves to the star-studded bash.
Gracie Otto, the former girlfriend of Matthew Newton, was among the guests, but refused to talk about her former flame who is undergoing treatment in a rehab clinic.
"It is a personal issue and I would prefer not to comment,'' Otto said of Newton.
Australia's Got Talent judge Brian McFadden revealed he would be jetting off to Korea on Saturday for two days to see fiance Delta Goodrem perform with Andrea Bocelli before heading to Ireland for the holy communion of his daughters Molly and Lily-Sue next week.
McFadden said it would be a happy family affair, after his Twitter blow up last week at his ex-wife Kerry Katona.
"It is all about the kids and I can't wait to see my girls,'' he said.
In true rock chic style, model Erin McNaught ignored Melbourne's chilly weather and turned up wearing a figure hugging, see-through, lace mini dress.
MTV Classic will do on air across Australia this weekend.
