I shouldn't have read the comments, there are some HUGE douchebags on there...

well, I haven't read them and I'm not going to, but I can easily guess... "where's Slash? this is no Guns N' Roses!"

pretty strange - someone pays $50-$100 for the ticket, and instead enjoying the show, it's just for bitching and whining

Go to a restaurant and order yourself a $50-$100 steak.
Let the waiter come to you in two hours with a delicious looking steak shaped block of tofu.

See if you're left asking "Wheres the meat?"

I think its too late in the game for anyone to even be bothered by it much anymore but casual fans of music will of course be wondering what happened to that band they remember taking over the world way back when.

outside being  harsh to compare gn'r to tofu, i'd imagine 99.9 percent of the people leaving comments havent been to any shows and as such would be the people sitting outside the restaurant moaning whinging.

but keep harking back to a mythical lost golden age; its really helpful.

Not at all dude. I'm fine with this band being what it is. I'm happy Axl's happy dictating the show. At least the dude will tour.

However, I don't ignore the other side to the Gn'R story.

My analogy should have left nothing to the imagination. Its as plainly as I could put the shit. I love Gn'R and Axl but will never shit on anyone who says "Where's Slash", cause deep down, I know exactly what they're talking about.

who is asking you to ignore it? please dont invent an opposition that doesnt exists.

your analogy was a poor one for several reasons. accept it and move on (which is advice that would serve you well in general)

I Agreed with you fish......

everyone has their point of view, the negative comments you see there, is a reflection of what is guns n roses this days, confusion, new band, members, axl alone,  and people dont realize that the band is great, is what it is....  people are stuck in slash and the 90s
