Concert was AWESOME, Best ever, If I had planned it wouldn't be so perfect. Axl's voice sounds better than ever!
I have to admit I've been waiting for this concert for 18 years so to see different people was kinda  weird in the beginning, and the wheelchair thing also was kinda creepy.

I totally thought it was for real, but then he ran all night long, very energetic, Axl was enjoying himself and the guys were having a blast! I was able to grab DJ Ashba, he came down very close to us (right side of the stage), and then I just tried to feel his arm, and he lost his concentration, it probably tickled him bad! Well I'm in heaven, don't even know if I want to see them in Brazil ( already got tickets) because I don't want to spoil my concert memories.I just don't think they will be able to duplicate last night's concert!

Awesome concert last night. As mentioned, GNR came out just before 11:30pm and finished up just before 2:00am, so basically 2.5 hours of high octane rock and roll.

I thought the sound wasn't quite as good as some other GNR shows I've seen, a bit muddy but we were in the stands to the side of the stage, I'll bet it sounded better out in front of the stage. Having said that, it certainly wasn't bad, just a fair bit of echo or muddy sound, especially during a couple of Democracy numbers (probably at its worst during Better).

It's So Easy, Live and Let Die, Rocket Queen, Sweet Child, You Could Be Mine, Nightrain, Paradise City, all awesome.

So great to hear Sorry and Catcher in the Rye, dedicated to J.D. Salinger, who unfortunately died a day or two ago. Sad for me as I was a huge fan.

Funny interplay between Axl and I think Fortus, when Axl jokingly said he couldn't remember what happened the night before after the show. Fortus said, "I saw you! I saw you at the bar!" Axl was joking around for a bit saying something like, "I'm pretty sure I wasn't there." Montreal is famous for its strip clubs, so that would be my guess as to where they were.

I was a bit surprised at how good This I Love was, I really dig the tune but Axl just belted that thing out. Great performance by the man there. Axl and the band were in great spirits throughout, really enjoyed Bumblefoot's guitar solo and DJ Ashba nailed all the guitar solos he played perfectly. As always, Fortus rocked the shit out of that guitar.

His story about Bubbles was pretty funny. Basically, in Western Canada he met a girl who they all liked, who's a close friend of Bubbles. She had a work commitment in Germany and was pissed that she had to miss the rest of GNR's Canadian tour. So in Germany, she's out in a bar, and who walks in but Jimmy Page. They get to talking, and when she says she is from Canada, he asked if she had ever seen a show about 3 guys in a trailer park! She mentioned that she's good friends with Bubbles and had just talked to him earlier that evening. Page said, Bubbles is my favourite!

All in all, great fucking show. Wish I could see them again on this tour, if London or Hamilton were still coming up I'd try to go, but I'm glad that at least I got to see 'em last night. Concert was awesome overall!!

Bumblefoot was real sick during this show.... Good to hear he still did his best :(

Bumblefoot's Twitter:

"Doped up on flu meds. Every step on stage was like squatting 400 pounds on a tightrope. Peeled off the backstage floor & sent to hotel..."

Good thing somebody recorded some songs off Chinese Democracy eh
Amazing show, Axl really put everything into it. Hearing the whole crowd booing cause the band wasn't on stage before 11 made my stomach turn, if you dont like it go the fuck home! Same with the show in Hamilton, way too many people there who were more interested in taking a nap than being at the show. People really need to shape up or ship out when it comes to thier concert etiquette lol

Talking of concert etiquette, whatever happened to the band coming on stage in time?

I'm sure you think it's all very hip for a band to be 2 hours behind schedule but all it means to me is a lack of professionalism.

Like everybody else I paid good money to see a show, and I expect the band to satisfy me - the paying customer. I'm sure it's all very rock and roll to do whatever the fuck you like when ever the fuck you like but it's just yet another example that shows that Rose takes the audience for granted. He doesn't care.

I paid good money to see a show, so I have a right to boo. If Rose doesn't like it he can get his scabby ass on stage on time in future. The same goes for you. If you don't like it encourage Rose to get on stage in time. You disciples put up with all sorts of shit from this guy.

Who exactly is the customer here? I don't care what he was doing the previous night. He should be on stage on time every night. What would the world be like if every cunt decided to start work 2 hours late?

I'd like to hear Rose if he sat down in a restaurant and after receiving his drinks the food didn't arrive for 2 hours. And then the server said some shit about having had a wild night the night before.

I never look at it that way. That may be a bit exaggerated but mostly I can agree, if I put myself in the shoes of the thousands of people waiting on their feet for one person.
