bs..  either be an artist or gtfo... done.
What are your current thoughts about Kurt Cobain?

Axl: I said I'm going on ChiDem now and he said whatever & walked away other than that I've been busy.

I gotta comment on this..

I don't see anything wrong with Slash playing with other artists or going to celeb parties and events... after all he's a celebrity, that doesn't really mean he is a sell out or anything like that, and it sure its gotta be fun when u play with other artists from different kinds of music. Thats what Slash does. Nothing wrong with that.

This however doesn't mean that he didn't lie about Axl and what happened though.

From the answers we got from Axl and from Slash about the issue though... it seems like Slash's side of the story was much more reliable and factual than Axl's story!

Don't get me wrong! Im much more of a fan for Axl then Slash. Axl is my idol, but im not that blind to see that something on Axl's statement about this whole thing doesn't really makes sense.

Lets see the facts: Axl said he never had planned to go on a different direction and he wanted to do a traditional album.
Slash said he didnt left because of the music itself, however when they were about to break up, its been stated by various members, that Axl was planning to go more industrial and use mire synths in songs...
Now Axl stated he never wanted to change direction, even though he had a studio full of synths and all that shit during that time, and even though Chinese Democracy is a totally different direction from a traditional Guns N'Roses album! and also you can see industrial influenced songs. Is that a coincidence perhaps?? don't think so.

Another fact, Axl would come out really late to the shows... fact is he still does that! In almost every show.. On this 2009/2010 tour he's been better but still does it!

Now Axl says on his statement that the band had no idea what he had to deal with backstage. Yet on his statement in real life on that tour, he says he was going through a lot because of his past and what happened with his family bla bla bla.

Now on his statements, Axl says he's a night person (im fine with that) and that he likes to play at the hours he arrives ( late). I believe this is somewhat contradictory!

So Slash and Duff gave lots of interviews talking about Guns N'Roses. Is it really their fault? or were they asked about it every time they would go on a interview... cause that still happens...
Ok so ill admit that they didn't speak well about Axl.... they didnt speak that bad either... they just told the press what in their view caused the break up...and told the press that Axl treated the band like it was his solo project!

Axl thought about doing an industrial album, and he did in part some industrial songs on CD, as we all noticed! Also, he hired people and continued with the name Guns N'Roses doing his own thing at his own terms - So i guess Slash, Duff and Matt are right about it! Thats a fact!

I don't think they really spoke bad things about Axl, and they told the truth!

Axl's story has no credibility at all, and he's talkin about saving face, when he's the one coming after all these years trying to save his face from all the shit that went through with the band.

Surely Slash did some bad things too... really bad things... he was a drug addict so he also has shown completely disregard of the band he was playing with and so did Duff with his problems.

To be honest, Guns N'Roses was a boat waiting to hit on the Iceberg!
So i don't really blame it on anyone... they did what they do best during they time they were able to hang on and play some fucking songs!
Sooner or later they couldn't continue with that crazy lifestyle they were having in the 80s/90s.

Im sorry to bring out some reunion shit again... but it seems like people here are always waiting for the right oportunity to point their fingers at Slash and blame him for doing whatever is doing...I don't think thats a fair judgement to be honest!

Let's just appreciate the music of both!

wtf is it with all the Slash bashing  :retard:
What did Slash do to make you hate him?
sure, he pizzed off Axl, but is that the reason enough for you to go "George Bush" on his ass every time he does something?

so he played a song  :'(  ...whatever.

as someone on this forum once said, "go outside, smell the rainbow, pat the fluffy bunny..."  :retard:

well if you ask me .......

I dont like that shit......fuck rap, pop and that shit. You dont see other guitarrist doing that shit....... what playing for 5 minutes....with a bunch of rap fuckers.......dont know man....just my opinion.  I love slash, but ive just dont like to mix things, to mix a great guitarrist in stuff like this man......cmon , samething happend with fergie, with paulina rubio, even michael jackson.....   I think you should do your thing, wich is play fucking hard rock music with a band, creat fucking rock songs.....  not to play with genders of music or types of music that has nothing to do with you.

Anyhow he can do whatever he wants, hes free

thats how I see it

I usually defend Slash, but that was a disgrace.  If I were Axl I would be pissed!!!  I know its a GnR song but that was Axl's baby and for those fucks to butcher it the way they did and for Slash to be a part of it is shameful.

slash wants to play and have fun with other people, which he does.  whether it's old friends or new friends.  i doubt he takes it as seriously as forum trolls rofl

it's not like he's a vh1/cmt realty tv star like other 80s has beens (cough cough Sebastian Bach on Celebrity Fit Club, Gone Country, Cribs, SAVAGE ANIMAL) :)

I can't wait 2 or 3 more weeks to see Baz working out on Celebrity Fit Club next to Kevin Federline and 10 other randoms

its not that slash covers himself with glory with his performance, my main gripe is with that painfully piss poor song. Mainstream rap and r'n'b has god awful for the best part of a decade and performances like that show how bloated and decadent it has become. There is nothing inherently wrong with decadence in music, but it should be backed up by something more tangible and this was just fluff.

on this occasion slash is guilty by association.
