The roof -Two 700-foot-long trusses support the University of Phoenix Stadium's retractable roof, each busting the scales at about 1,800 tons. The roof itself is constructed of a translucent fabric allowing for an open-air feel even when closed. However, for Wrestlemania XXVI, the chairman has decreed that the roof be rolled back.Ring Placement -As in previous years, WWE staffers carefully examined the layout of the University of Phoenix Stadium meticulously, scoping out the entire arena to find the prefect spot for the ring. Not surprisingly, the ideal spot is dead-center on the 50-yard line, so wherever you're sitting, you are guaranteed an unobstructed view.Fire -As of press time, the entrance-way design has the ramp lined with smoldering cauldrons of fire. These cauldrons will also be situated all around the set and be cued to burn high or low depending on what the action calls for. The average temperature of each cauldron? A cozy 1,000F.Center Structure -An open-air event means a massive, 110-foot tall above-ring structure, similar to the one used at Wrestlemania XXIV. It will hold 30 tons of light, sound and video equipment.Light Show -To illuminate the ring, entrance way and stage, the WWE will be running more than 1500 miles of wire and cable throughout the stadium. All told, nearly 175,000 watts of juice will be used to power the 1000 plus lights. Also, given the show's western setting, the lighting will be calibrated to handle sunlight and illuminate shadows as the sun sets.Pyrotechnics -No Wrestlemania would be complete without an eardrum shattering display of combustion, and this year WWE's design team is taking the explosions to the next level. The resident firebugs will be rolling out 300,000 individual pieces of pyro product - when you add in the concussion mortars, the number climbs closer to 400,000. When set, they'll be launched 200 feet into the air over Phoenix.WWE.com

who gives a flying fuck, TNA despite the ratings had an amazing show on Monday, RVD Debuted, Jeff Hardy returned, Sting turned heel, the X Division was being pushed as was the Womens division. Compared with RAW, iMPACT! was astounding on Monday night. But let the WWE Fanboys cometh and say theirs was better. i find it funny how people have a go at TNA for using old guys for ratings when WWE is doing the exact same thing TNA may not beat WWE in the ratings straight away and they will probably get annihilated in the ratings but last week then didn't lose viewers. they made a 1.0 Rating which is their standard of rating usually. Whilst WWE's viewers went down... what does that tell you? Fact is WWE has gotta pull their finger out. Rome wasn't built overnight and TNA won't beat them in a week or a month or hell even in 6 months but if they continually put out a better product, its only a matter of time before fans start switching and god i hope they do because the bullshit the WWE fans are being spoonfed week in and week out is intolerable to me and thus why i switched to TNA.
but whereas Burgers and Drinks will keep the same things around for decades, same taste, same recipe that consistently sells, a TV show can't keep up the top notch stuff week after week.
RVD to TNA thank gourd. Put the strap on that dude!!Then you can put more emphasis on X-Division style wrestling.Yes, TNA... even in your heavyweight main events.I love Sting but I'm tired of seeing him with a friggin t-shirt on and I only watch wrestling like once every two months.
