of course they go with how they feel, you're both different sides of the same coin.  there's really no difference between your arguments and the euros' arguments, it's just that they do a little more googling before they post, but you both cherry pick facts to fit your argument.  it's just the internet, it's ok

here i'll give you an example.  you always quote the bible about how being gay is wrong, but what about how the bible says that it's ok for a whole city to stone to death a disobedient child or a man or woman who cheats?  that's cherry picking

Shaun, how about you continue believing that the dude was a flying zombie necromancer, alchemist and shaman who promoted symbolic ritual cannibalism and was the son of God.

I'll continue to believe that he was the first great moral philosopher and an all round decent guy.  The sort of person who wouldn't judge people on the basis of their sexuality, the sort of person who wouldn't think being 'gay' was a particularly terrible thing to be. 

Just because you find homosexuality insulting and scary doesn't mean everyone else does.  Saying someone might have been gay is not, despite what you believe, an attempt to insult them or denigrate them.  Does it change any of the things he may or may not have actually achieved in his life?  Does it lessen the impact of his teachings in any way?  Does it matter in the slightest whether dude was gay or not?  And if he actually was (which I'm assuming you don't have the balls to countenance) what then?  Do you turn your back on Christianity for being a 'fag' religion and look for something more manly and less feminized?  I hate to go down the reduction ad hitlerum route with you, but can you guess who the last western leader to strongly advocate well defined gender roles, promote masculinity and try to instill in his population strong masculine values was?

And how is it that in a couple of threads in the Green Room when I've quoted sections from your Bible at you as counters to your arguments you say 'keep the bible out of this' and try to pass yourself off as not interested in religion, yet when it suits your purpose you're all over claiming the word of God as final truth to confirm and support your stupid, nasty, twisted little narrow minded bigoted worldview?  Call things straight down the middle?  You wouldn't know an impartial argument if it approached you wearing a tutu and cock slapped you in the face.  I genuinely fear for humanity and wonder whether it's worth the effort sometimes when I read your posts, your disdain for and contempt for logic, reason, facts, or consistency and the general bitter nastiness that seeps out of just about everything you do is contemptible.
