US and UK 'special relationship'

respectable citizens of the UK are not punished for crimes which they haven't committed.... Honestly, I resent hearing otherwise.

Neither, I would hope, are 'unrespectable' citizens of the UK.  Judge a man not by how he treats his equals and all that.

But yeah, I don't think the average Brit has much to worry about from our government.  I would suggest/guarantee that what happened to Abdulrahman Zeitoun and numerous others happens a lot less to people in the UK.
