They'll see the 'white nights'. It never gets dark in St Petes in the summer because it's so far north.

That'll be insane. Russians love rock. However, they'll probably need a lot of money 'pod stolom' (under the table) to even play there: I imagine they'll have to bribe a lot of people to get visas and permission etc.

Just as I'm leaving Russia, they announce tour dates.... Great timing. Fuck it. I'll catch them in LONDON!! AT THE DOME BABY FUCK YEAH!! Nowhere else is worthy.

I asked my friend from Moscow about this, here's his reply:

To the show in St. Petersburg have already accepted applications for tickets http://spb.kassir.ru/spb/db/text/217055859.html, but at the concert organizer's site have no information. It seems as tickets go on sale March 5. About Moscow show is nothing at all is not clear, because information on one site - GN'R on June 8 http://www.lenta.ru/news/2010/03/03/gunsnroses/, but on the other - July 10 http://www.internetafisha.ru/guns.html. On the site of the Olympic Stadium there is nothing.

Russia is Russia, not Europe. Visas and registration will make it really expensive for those who 'don't have a fucking clue'... My last trip OUT of Russia was intense. It seems, they don't care how you come in, just how (and with what) you leave!!

Luzhniki Stadium is a really big deal by Moscow standards. Don't worry, they probably won't have anything on the Moskvite website until the day before, unless they can be arsed to do it... Lazy bastards.

As an Englishman who's lived in Moscow, I can tell you that Gnr are going to have to pay dearly to play there. Big money and RICH people will be involved at the concert. I'm sure Axl will be asked to shake hands with lots of random, billionaire locals, who he couldn't give two shits about. In return, I'm sure Gnr be rewarded by some of the most hedonistic awesomeness that money could possibly afford (as if they couldn't themselves). Welcome to modern Russia (Moskva, that is).
