Thanks to the stewardess who allowed me to travel in the first class. She saw my shirt with the signature and we start to talk about it.  I told her that I was a big fan of GN'R and I was travelling to Argentina just to see the show. The whole crew of the airplane was very thrilled by the presence of GNR , even the captain who greeted them across the speakers and put SCOM in the whole plane. When that happened Ron and Dizzy looked each other very surprised and covered their ears, they only wanted to rest, and Pitman covered completely with a blanket.
A lot of passengers at the airport and in the airplane asked me "who are they??" and I said "They are GUNS N' ROSES" and then they said "WTF!!!??" "REALLY!!??" "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!??" and run for their camaras and pencils. It was very, very funny.
It was one of the biggest days of my life, no doubt.
Wow. That's really cool.....Lucky bastard  :tongue:

Why doesn't Axl give the rest of the band "a lift" on his plane as well?  Seems strange that he has a private jet and wouldn't share it with his bandmates.

I gotta agree with that. I didn't even know he owns a private jet these days, let alone the fact he won't let the whole band board it. I'd say regarding the Randy Rhoads incident it might be a wise choice, but what the hell? ;)

Axl has always required access to some solitude on the road, and often travelled apart from the band. Izzy did the same. So have many musicians. If you've got the money, what's the big deal?

Questioning this may have made some sense in 1992, but it's a case of "negative nitpicking" now.

As for the OP, cool story, must have been one helluva day!
