Paul Stanley Says Doc Mcghee is Not GN'R Manager

Singer Axl Rose recently revealed via Twitter (see below) that GUNS N' ROSES is now managed by Doc McGhee, who has handled the careers of BON JOVI, MÖTLEY CRÜE and KISS throughout the years. There is one problem, however — McGhee was apparently never told of the arrangement.

In the brand new issue of Classic Rock magazine, which goes on sale next Wednesday (March 31), KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley was asked if McGhee was still KISS' manager in light of the reports that Doc was now representing GUNS N' ROSES. "That's been very funny," Paul replied. "A few weeks ago I said to Doc: 'It would've been nice if you'd told us.' Doc replied: 'I had nothing to to do with it.'"

Stanley added, "Axl has decided, from what I understand, that Doc is his manager. That's a one-way agreement. because Doc is not managing GUNS N' ROSES. One day he certainly might but he's not right now. And he definitely is still our manager."

Neither GUNS N' ROSES nor Axl Rose is listed as a client on McGhee Entertainment's official web site.

KISS is a great band as is GNR. And what's wrong with being a faggot is still a mystery to me. Most people who criticize this orientation are borderline-homosexual or the occasional fucking racist. Flame now.

Kiss' MUSIC is severely lacking, I suppose I just never got it.  Axl and GN'R offer something very unique in his/their style, while Kiss just seems like some goofy group of guys who rely upon makeup and halloween costumes to draw people in.  If you're a fag I suppose you wouldn't understand why its a bad thing, or maybe you're european (is there a difference though?) and its more accepted where you're from.  I couldn't care less what sexual orientation people are as long as they don't bother me directly, but yes I do believe homosexuality is a strange practice, the vast majority of cases are that of choice, and quite frankly I just don't care for the people and their flamboyant behavior.  As for racism having anything to do with not liking fags... I guess I simply don't follow you on that one?

Let me tell you one thing: Maybe you're just some random, 15-year old, dimwitted fuck on an internet forum, but you should grow some goddamn balls of your own and get the knowledge -- the mere basis of knowledge if you want to put it that way -- to see through all the changes of variety in rock music. Then and only then you're allowed to judge bands for what they are, look like or play.

Everbody's pretty egocentric sometimes and I can't say that I'm reading your last post with too much of a neutral approach. That's why I say that everything of your fucking, retarded gibberish doesn't make any sense to me. Believe it or not. It's not about KISS or being gay -- and funny enough I almost agree with you on the gay issue -- it's much more about the point you're trying to make here.

As for me, I'm too much of a lover of life and open-mindedness (that's no real word I know) to provoke an artificial discussion with some wannabes and welfares to be honest.

Thanks for letting me know all that big guy.. haha.  My opinion of kiss is no more or less valid than yours, so again, you have no point.  I would say I'd do my best to strive to get to the point where I'm allowed to opine on musical tastes, but in doing so I remember that quite frankly I don't care about music that much.  As for being a lover of life and open-mindedness, I'm just not that touchy-feely, I live in reality.

i like them for the same reason i like gnr, they reflected a vibe I connected with at one point and they managed to capture it and put it on record, then went out and seemingly personified it in live events

sadly, they were both so over the top in their own way that they were unable to live up to their own standards and turned into nostalgia acts, they have a lot more in common now than you'd like to think
