I'm registered to vote at the moment in a completely safe lib-dem seat (Gordon, NE Scotland). Since I'm not living in the UK right now and I know who's gonna win that seat already I'm not sure I'll bother going through the rigamarole of proxy voting or postal balloting or whatever I need to do.If I do vote, it'll have to be lib-dem, just to make sure the Tories didn't somehow sneak that seat. On the question of who I'd like to win the election, no idea; not the tories, not the bnp, not ukip. I have no real desire to see Labour returned to power again, I don't think Nick Clegg is actually a liberal, I don't fancy the SNP's chances. No-one really tickles me I'm afraid.Being as only 2 parties have a chance, I'd take Labour over the Tories.
who is everyone gonna vote for anyway??
Best pre-election story thus far comes out of the BNP... apparently one of their prospective candidates has been arrested for plotting to kill their party leader Nicky G and take his place as the fairy at the top of the fascist Christmas tree.http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/apr/04/bnp-mark-collett-nick-griffinHow splendidly mental.
