axl is smiling and waving!!! clearly he is merely planning something evil.
lol with the evil grin Axl thinks to himself "oh what id like to do to you poparizza ! It could be LAX air port all over again" "but im just going to smile and go on and enjoy my day" lol
Article from fadedyouthblog.com Of course it wouldnt be an article about Axl without the writer tring to take a stab at Axl or say something negative !!! Its retarted enough to say "former" GNR front man, and later talks about a guns gig last month ..
I just hope that on this break (and I know it wont' happen), start doing interviews, get the name back out big time. Maybe record and release a new song (I myself laughed when I wrote that). But just something. He sounds AMAZING, the band is great, the only thing stopping them right now is themselves.
Actually, the article doesn't contradict itself. If you read carefully, it describes Axl as a "former GNR frontman" - and then says he finished a "concert gig" last month - not a "GNR concert gig." I think they're alluding to the current lineup not being GNR. So, it must have been written by someone who doesn't consider the current lineup to be GNR.

Not sure if Axl is being given bad advice or is just not taking the advice of experienced people in the music industry. He needs to promote his album and music, and that means doing the press circuit. This is a far different world than it was in the late 1980s and early 1990s: It's no longer enough to drop by a radio station, shake hands with a program director, and let the music do the talking. How an artist is marketed -- whether it's a Rolling Stone interview or appearing on a late night show - can make or break a musician today. And ignoring this just isn't smart.
