I think some of you guys are confused about the term frontman. It is, in fact, not synonamous with the term lead singer. I don't think anyone can really argue the fact that Angus is way more recognizable by name and by looks than Brian johnson. His image is one of the most iconic in music. ever. Same goes for Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons ,albeit to a somewhat lesser extent. But yeah, I do agree with the fact that some of these frontmen (like axl) don't really have any involvement with any metal bands. and for christ's sake a woman can't be a frontman can she? I mean... goddamn that's common sense. And regardless of the obvious error in terms of the definition of words Lita Ford should not be anywhere near the list. Not even if it was top 50 frontwoman. Should have been called 50 greatest of Hard Rock imo. Dave Mustaine should be on the list. So should Randy Blythe, and M. Shadows and Howard Jones. G.G. allan, Vince Neil, and Especially Sebastian Bach, who is downright abismal in every aspect of performance, and the very picture of bad cliche musicians, shouldn't even have been considered. Serj and Phil should be way higher, and Maynard should be in the top3 at least. overall a pretty close-minded and downright bad list.
