@ Bucket: 28KM = quite far yes. I just women myself up and think about people doing ultra races of 50 & 100Ks.

@ Slashof: I got bored and started torturing myself instead by running really far. The next day feels the same at times though, but at least I remember what happened.

Don't worry my friend, I've got olive skin for the sunburn(hardly ever get burnt) & Australian Gold Sweat Resistant (35 fucking dollar) spray sun block against the raisin skin

@ Iconic: Aww...don't flatter yourself. I have been in good shape for the most part of my life. My goal is to be in marathon shape, though. As for taking me out.. how about I take you out; First one to run around central park has to buy the other ice cream. I don't think I'll need to bring change.

So... yesterday I got around to running, a bit late, so the planned 17K turned out to be 11K for a number of reasons (work, heat/humidity/blowing up a storm).

...it was a decent run up until I had to run back(the wind turned and it was really strong), ran in on the 5K mark at 28min, which is OK for long distance. I actually brought my camera as it fit well in my drinking belt.. taking pictures of yourself while running couldn't be more embarrassing...(Even though I snapped them as soon as there were no one in sigh). I even tried filming myself..but I'm not even gonna upload that, haha.


Uh..I decided to click the cartoon effect button on Photobucket just for teh lulz (unintended cleavage/myspacewhoreiness is somewhat camouflaged this way, my face looks weird as hell though? Wtf)

Will try to run 14 today, but I'm knackered, past 3 weeks I've had 2 days off of work.. Drinking coffee to wake up.. And, I've decided to do the big run either Sat, Tues or Wednesday. (All depending on how many pints I have at the Clutch gig tomorrow night).
