haha ye that's it, it was to raise money to help people with cancer. it still is one of the toughest climbs i ever did but it felt great. it feels even better when you know you're doing it for a good cause

Yeah, definitely. I'm gonna do charity runs in the future for sure. It's a good way to raise money/awareness.

Anyway, my body is a MACHINE. I am knackered, yet I managed to do 14K in 1h 20 min. My legs are getting tomorrow off. Thank you and good night.

Anyway I was close to running a marathon with a friend but they had to drop out and
I didn't want to run alone so I did too, but my tolerance was 15 miles, so yeah I'm somewhat of a seasoned runner. :P

I recommend Asics shoes you should pick up some of those.

Lots of water + stretching + proper carbs  goes a long way too.

About 17/18 miles by my reckoning.  A big run.

And as you said, love the stretching and your body will love you back for it.  The amount of people who don't stretch post-run and then moan about being in pain the next day and end up giving up on the exercise as a result is ridiculous

@ Live Free! ; Yeah, some good advice for sure, carbs are a runners best friend. Asics have quality running shoes, I have been looking around. Picking up a new pair soon.

@ Nemo; Agreed, Stretching is always a part of my work out, as a result I can just about do the split. Also; stretching for like 2 min total is a waste of time. Each muscle has to be stretched for at least 30 sec at a time for it to have any effect.

I was thinking about today, but it's not happening because 1: I was at a festival yesterday 2: I had the artist wrist band that gives you access to amazing free food and beverages.. alcohol that is. 3: I'm going again today and this run will take too long and I'll miss a bunch of bands, just goin for a 10k or so.
