Now that we have had a long time to think about it, our opinions may have changed on the subject.

So which moment or moments are your personal favourites?

I love the part of Chinese Democracy when the intro riff is reaching a climax and axl does the scream (pity he doesnt do it live :tear:)

Robin's  This i love solo

Bucket's Sorry solo

And the MLK part of Maddy
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain

yeah i agree.  Along with that, the acoustic and overdriven solo's on that song
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain

TWAT Solo, Better Outro, Street Of Dreams outro, Prostitue.
Ask yourself.

Slash played well, but Robin wrote Better.

Outro of There was a time
Intro of scraped (the normal and live intro)
This I love, the guitar solo
the last part of Sorry
Solo of Shackler's Revenge
end of Prostitute

the la da da da bit on ITW where the sound goes from right to left... good stuff
This ^

and:
Catcher in the rye, the outro and the part where the lyrics are:
na na NA na na na na,
I loved it when they played it live in Sasketoon Canada (sorry if I spelled the name of the city wrong)
and played it again from that part..  :D

but when I gave the album a "second thought" it sounded much better,
I just took the time for it,
just when I had nothing to do, I was laying down on my bed,
and put Chinese Democracy on..
I was impressed.. :D
It's so nice to be normal, to be normal for a change....

Catcher in the Rye - the 'bubbles' part that goes into 'na na na' and the guitar solo. That part blows me away every time, I think the whole song has such a genius structure and the final mix is amazing. Ron nailed the solo and I love the ascending rhythms you can hear under it. I especially love it after Axl explained what the song means during the fan chats.

I also wanna say the last part of Prostitute, the explosion of the 'ask yourself' part then into the final string part, such a great way to end the album.

Catcher in the Rye, Definitely the synthy part then the las and ripping solo, then the epic outro starting "On an ordinary day, not in an ordinary way" just the thinking behind it and feelings pure awesome

I agree, it's a great tune and the outro is one of the best moments on the album. IMO, one of the best songs since appetite.

I like the guitar solo in IRS, the refrain at the end of Catcher In The Rye ("How a body took a body..."), the guitar solo in This I Love and the last 2 minutes of Street Of Dreams. All genius!
