Not been playing much :'( This is tragic for me and going on too long.
Anyway I will attempt to get organized and maybe find some depressed dark shit deep inside to chase out along the way and beyond this road.
I have stock Peavey Classic 20 amp - 10 inch blue marvel speaker -
TubesSo I ordered tubes from EuroTubes - JJ's - My amp is fixed bias so I should just be able to pop the new tubes right in.
Peavey Classic 20 High gain option
Price: 46.00
Description: A matched pair of the JJ EL84's for power along with a hand picked high gain ECC83S for maximum gain in V1 and a graded ECC83S with a high current output in V2. Smooth and warm. Just let me know in the comments box on the check out page if your looking for max headroom, moderate or an early breakup so I can select a proper grade for the power tubes.
Only complaint is that they charged me $30 shipping

you can see the peavey tube kits here. I picked the high gain option, I hope it is a good choice but I'm not so sure.
https://ssl.eurotubes.com/cart/index.php?page=view_products&category_id=8&sub_category_id=77SpeakerThe stock speaker is complete rubbish. Its also only 10 inches. 12" speaker will not fit it without modding much. So this leaves me at a crossroad.... Do I buy a Weber Speaker? and if so which one? Silver Bell or something form the Classic series? Ceramic or AlNiCo?
Upgrading the speaker would be a cheaper option than buying an extension cab. BTW the ext cab would terminate the 10" speaker. But I really think I would be happier with a good 1x12 like the Orange PPC112 that has a 60 watt Celestion Vintage '30 - Hell I'd like a greenback but they don't come with that stock, but the Vintage 30 has a nice sparkle yet meaty sound but its rated higher for watts and not sure if too much for the amp (probably not).

So do you think I'm on the right track or do you have any suggestions?
