I'm sure I would. But personally I'd rather look forward to the next magnus opus than probably something of The Spaghetti Incident- type levels of lasting quality. So yeah I'm keeping expectations low. Most contemporary remixes don't last in the modern brain for more than 3 years. All the ones I used to like like Bowie's, U2's... haven't, they just sound old and/or nostalgic now (to me).

True, i prefer a new album as well!

I'd rather just have new material. Let CD go away already. We've been talking a out it for a decade, he's toured on it for nearly as long, and now a remix? Jeez. Sure a remix would be cool, but how 'bout something new instead?

normally i would not like this or care about it, but im actually pretty optimistic about this happening and being cool. This could sort of be another form of that re-release of CD we speculated about so much back then. To release this as like a second coming mabye and then promote it some and or release the music videos finally....mabye ? lol

I'm curious to see what it is, but I'd rather have new music. We've been on the CD train for a decade now, time to get off.

Maybe remixed tracks could be part of a future release, like B-sides, bonus tracks etc... as opposed to a whole new album? Obviously i have no idea but that could be a cool idea.

I cant really see a remix album being released, though id be curious to hear it, for sure.

id buy it regardless of what it is, then judge upon listening.

I think the best thing the band could do is, release a live album/dvd.  That would keep us tied over until any new releases of original material are ready to be put out.  It would also provide a way for the guys in the band other than Axl, to get some long overdue recognition.

Axl should give us the multitracks recordings and the fans will do their own mix, then he could work on a new album, I don't want to wait another decade, or 2, for NEW material.

Yeah; I like this idea. Radiohead did something like this, didn't they? I'd love to have a go at doing some mixing on "Silkworms", "Oh My God" and "Shackler's Revenge". It wouldn't be that difficult to set up and it would keep the fans happy while Axl & Co. finish the next record. Hell, the best fan mixes could even get some sort of official release (B-Sides? Remix E.P?).

In a band like NIN a remix album is rational. In a band like GNR...i really wouldn't like to see it. I really dont  want to see GNR turned into Linkin Park or some band of that nature... I hope this remix album doesn't come out

Sometimes the idea of it is intriguing, but ultimately I wish we could move onto something else. It's been CD for a decade now. How about touring on what you've got then releasing new material? I'd prefer that much more.
